Why learn Latin?
Of-course you should study Latin! Don’t you want to get to the bottom of it all? The roots of western civilization lie in the ancient Greek and Roman cultures. 60% of English words are derived from Latin. So many of our institutions and our areas of study can be traced back to these ancient civilizations: law, government, literature, art, architecture, philosophy, mathematics, and more.
